Improving Risky Behaviors

July 7, 2018

Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are the #1 occupational injury causing employees to miss work.

Implementation of a comprehensive ergonomics program can significantly reduce the risk of MSDs.  Workplace design is able to address many ergonomic risk factors.  However, employee behavior is much more difficult to monitor and change.

Soter Analytics of Australia has developed an innovative, wearable device and accompanying mobile app to measure an employee’s movements and provide her with real-time feedback.  Initial tests of workers using the proactive SoterSpine device have reduced their hazardous actions by up to 70%.

Paradigm Safety is proud to partner with Soter Analytics to bring the new SoterSpine device to businesses in Michigan.
